Qualifications:
- B.Tech / B.E/ BCA/ MCA / MTech is the minimum eligibility criteria.
Preferred:
- ISTQB Certification or equivalent is a plus.
Required Skills:
- At least 5+ years of experience in leading/managing projects.
- Experience managing and leading Enterprise level Projects.
- B. Tech / B.E / M. Tech / BCA / MCA is the minimum eligibility criteria.
- Test Management: Proficiency in managing testing projects, timelines, and deliverables.
- Defect Management Tools: Experience using defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, or equivalent.
- Test Automation Knowledge (optional): Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Selenium) is a plus,
though the role focuses primarily on manual testing. - Strong analytical, testing and problem-solving skills, ability to understand impact of system changes,
formulate test plans, test conditions and acceptance criteria to minimize risk and recommend appropriate
business or solution.
Responsibilities:
- Manual Testing: Oversee and participate in the creation, execution, and maintenance of test cases, test
plans, and test scripts for manual testing of software applications. - Lead the QA Team: Manage, mentor, and provide direction to a team of QA engineers, ensuring team
alignment with project goals. - Deeply ingrained understanding of application security concepts.
- Evaluate the risk associated with different changes and system enhancement and implement the project
plan, testing methodology and change management program that is appropriate for the risk involved. - Participating in daily stand-up meetings, sprint planning, and sprint retrospectives.
- Coordinating with other teams to ensure timely delivery of quality software products.
- Ability to handle multiple projects, test priorities and adjust work accordingly to meet target deadlines.
- Defect Tracking and Reporting: Ensure proper documentation of defects and bugs, follow up with
development teams to track and resolve issues. - Collaboration: Work closely with developers, project managers, and product owners to ensure clear
communication of requirements and deliverables. - Test Strategy Development: Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies and approaches that
align with project timelines and quality expectations. - Test Documentation: Review and ensure the accuracy and completeness of test case documentation, bug
reports, and QA metrics. - Process Improvement: Continuously work towards improving the QA processes, tools, and
methodologies. - Mentorship: Provide training, guidance, and performance feedback to junior QA team members.
- Stakeholder Communication: Report testing progress, quality metrics, and key findings to stakeholders
and ensure they are informed of any potential risks or issues. - Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with technical
and non-technical stakeholders. - Attention to Detail: Ability to execute detailed test plans and ensure the highest level of quality in the
product.
