At least 2+ years of experience in testing manually.
B. Tech / M Tech/ B.E / BCA/ MCA is the minimum eligibility criteria.
Required Skills:
Should possess knowledge of SDLC and testing phase.
At least 3+ years of experience as manual test engineer or similar role.
Hands on experience in Functional Testing & Regression Testing.
Test Planning and Documentation: Develop test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on software requirements and specifications
Create detailed documentation of test procedures and results.
Manual Testing Execution: Execute test cases manually to identify bugs, defects, or inconsistencies in software functionality, user interface, and performance and record and report defects using issue-tracking systems. Proficiency in manual testing techniques, methodologies, and tools.
Regression Testing and Validation: Conduct regression testing to ensure that previously identified defects have been resolved and that new changes do not introduce new issues.
Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with development teams to communicate identified issues, troubleshoot problems, and ensure timely resolution. Work closely with product managers or stakeholders to align testing with business requirements.
Quality Assurance and Improvement: Contribute to improving testing processes, methodologies, and strategies.
Should be able to analyze logs to identify errors.
Should possess knowledge in database testing.
Knowledge in API testing would be an added advantage.
Provide feedback and suggestions to enhance the quality and reliability of software products
Proficient in test management tools like (Jira, Test Rail, QC).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
